Shravan Somvar Puja is a special Monday worship dedicated to Lord Shiva during the holy month of Shravan. Devotees begin the day with an early morning bath, perform Jalabhishek by offering water or milk to the Shivling, offer Bilva (Bael) leaves, and chant "Om Namah Shivaya." Many devotees observe a partial or full-day fast and pray for peace, good health, happiness, prosperity, and Lord Shiva's divine blessings.
